He’s 54 years old, just over six feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. His blood pressure is low, cholesterol level enviable and resting heart rate well below average.
Did we forget to mention that this man also has a (very, very important) full-time job?
The White House just released a physician’s report from President Obama’s February check-up, and as it turns out, even with the stress of leading the free world, he’s in better shape than the average 50-year-old man. See for yourself:
While he’s, you know, running the country and all, Obama still “eats a healthy diet, remains tobacco free, and only drinks alcohol occasionally and in moderation.”
Even more impressive? “He continues to exercise daily with a focus on aerobic fitness and resistance weight training,” according to the report.
The president’s doctor, Ronny L. Jackson, concluded in the report: “The President’s overall health remains excellent and is improved from his last form assessment.
“His adherence to a healthy diet and a consistent exercise program has resulted in an improved lean body mass and lower cholesterol level.”
He added, “All clinical data indicates that the President is currently very healthy and that he will remain so for the duration of his Presidency.”
