HYANNIS – Barnstable County Register of Deeds John Meade has compiled the latest sales numbers from June; Meade says they reflect a trend of the last several months where both volume and value increased.
Sales volume was up 3.3% over June of last year and value was up 14% over the same period last year.
Median individual property sales value was also up with a 6.1% increase in those numbers, Meade also reports a 3.3% increase in mortgage activity over June 2015.
There were 836 deeds recorded in June with a median sale price of $350,000, in June, with 1,135 mortgages for a combined value of just under 401 million dollars.
Year to date volume and value are both up 17% and individual sales numbers increased 1% over this point in 2015.
