NAREDCO West Chapter of National Real Estate Development Council has geared up to represent the regions’ real estate sector in the forthcoming 13th National Convention to be held in New Delhi on 19-20 August, 2016. The 2 day convention will serve as an appropriate platform for the entire region including Maharashtra’s Realty sector to enter strategic partnerships with real estate and allied industries across India. The apex body will actively coordinate exchange of knowledge, resources and expertise pan India.
In the presence of the Chief Guest of the convention, Venkaiah Naidu, Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Poverty alleviation and information broadcasting, The 13th National Convention and Exhibition is poised to provide fillip to the India’s real estate sector. The main objective of the Convention is to deliberate on the existing real estate scenario and prepare road map for various legislative, regulatory, administrative and financial reforms. The thrust of the Convention would be on promoting exclusive development of real estate sector, apart from discussing the various aspects associated with the Housing for All by 2022 scheme of the government.
To announce NAREDCO’s 13th National Convention, Niranjan Hiranandani, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra said, “Given the fact that the government is targeting 6 crore houses 2 crore in urban areas and 4 crore in rural areas by 2022, with a view to provide affordable housing, build the smart cities and rejuvenate urban infrastructure, this Convention will provide an opportunity to all stake holders to deliberate the challenges before the sector and evolve strategies to accelerate pace of growth.”
Rajan Bandelkar, President Elect, NAREDCO Maharashtra, said, “In addition, the Convention would serve as the right platform to discuss the future of the real estate sector and lead it through its current challenging phase. NAREDCO members are diligently putting forth their best of efforts, expertise and resources, to get as close as possible to make affordable housing a reality, the 13th Convention shall focus on these very synergies that both, the fraternity and Government shall outline”.
Neel Raheja, Vice President, NAREDCO Maharashtra said “The Real Estate sector in India is redefining its methodology and reworking of principles, together with consumers, the industry experts and the government we are building a momento to not only fulfill the demands but also aim towards a better and a developed realty sector to benefit the citizens. Spread over two days, the sessions of the Convention shall focus on the themes including Growth of Real Estate and Infrastructure and Its Various Dynamics, Affordable Housing and The Way Forward, Legal and Regulatory Framework for The Real Estate Sector, Media’s Role in Development of The Nation, Relationship Between Banks and Realty Sector, Evolution of Private Equity and NBFCs role in Indian Real Estate Sector, Innovation In The Real Estate Sector among others. Each of these sessions would witness inputs from not only the expertise of the specific field but also have authorised representatives of general public and media.
The speakers list includes dynamic leaders from the government, academia, media real estate industry and financial institutions who have raised the bar and brought relevant impact nationally and internationally. In addition, there will be round table discussions too with prominent personalities at the Convention.
‘National Real Estate Awards 2016’ to honour meritorious industry players and associates for their outstanding performance, contribution and innovation will also be organised, during the 13th National Convention, at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi
In order to further aid the growth of the real estate sector, an exhibition to display new properties, technologies, products and materials for the benefit of the participants has also be organised at the same venue.
