Since the opening of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, on Grape Street, in Whitehall, the store has steadily grown in both donated products and sales. Donations to be sold at the ReStore, come from many people and companies throughout the Lehigh Valley.
Recently the Habitat Restore received a donation of over 1,000 new home decoration items. These range from hand-painted dressers to glass vases and lamps. The donation was so large that Habitat needed a warehouse space to sort and process the donation.
Longtime Habitat and Woman’s Build supporter Lisa Pecktor, of PennCap Properties, donated the warehouse space to store this the donation.
The first shipment of these new items will hit the store on Wednesday, January 25 at 10 a.m. when the store opens. New items will be brought to the store weekly.
All sales benefit the mission of Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley.
“We are so fortunate to receive these items and to have a partner like Penncap to help us with space to store the items,” said Holly Edinger, executive director.
