Copra edible Mumbai prices surged at the spice market here today due to good demand from stockists and retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing belts.
The rest of the spices ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra edible Mumbai gained by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,500 from last Saturday’s closing level of Rs 7,400.

Black pepper (per kg) 740/790 (740/790), ginger bleached (per kg) 150 (150), ginger unbleached (per kg) 170 (170), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 5,700 (5,700), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,600 (5,600), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 11,000 (11,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,500 (7,400).
