It is very nice to know that The Hindu is going to be published from Mumbai. It’s one of the most respected newspapers, which has shown tremendous determination in sticking to the truth, not indulging in any sort of tabloid journalism. And it’s a newspaper you read if you want to know facts that have happened; it doesn’t create news, it only reports news. Also I think of some of the Edit pages where you get to read columns by some of the eminent personalities in the world. Those columns are highly educative and those columns are something that one looks forward to reading, because as I said it gives you a wider perspective, mostly unbiased, of what’s happening in the world. So a hearty welcome to The Hindu to Mumbai and I am pretty certain that the Mumbai Edition will also live up to the high standards that the original editions have displayed for decades.
